We're Temporarily Closed: A Note from Harrison Bluffs

May 6, 2026 · Harrison Bluffs

We're so sorry. Harrison Bluffs is temporarily closed, and we know that for a lot of you, that news is going to land hard. Whether you have a reservation on the books, you've been counting down to your annual trip, or you were just hoping to swing by for the weekend, we're truly sorry for the disruption.

We want to be straight with you about where things stand.

Here's what we know

We're working through an open matter with the city, and until that's resolved, we are not able to welcome guests on the property. We're treating this with the urgency it deserves and meeting with the city as often as they'll have us. Everyone wants to get this right, and everyone wants Harrison Bluffs open again.

Here's what we don't know yet

We don't have a firm reopening date. We won't guess at one, because the last thing we want to do is set an expectation we can't keep. The moment we have something real to share, whether that's a date, a timeline, or even a clearer picture of what's next, we'll update this post and the homepage notice.

If you have a reservation

We are so sorry. Every current reservation needs to be cancelled, and every reservation will be fully refunded. We'll reach out to you directly to take care of it, and you don't need to do anything on your end. If you have questions, or if you haven't heard from us in the next few days, please contact us and we'll make it right.

How you can help

If you've ever loved a weekend at the bluffs, the kindest thing you can do for us right now is share that. Word of mouth is the lifeblood of a small place like ours, and your voice carries further than you'd think.

A few simple ways to support Harrison Bluffs while we're closed:

  • Spread the word. Tell friends and family that we'll be back. When we reopen, we'll need every camper, every kayaker, and every kid who's ever toasted a marshmallow on the bluffs.
  • Leave a kind review. If you've had a good experience with us over the years, a review on Google or Facebook is one of the most generous things you can do for a small business. Future guests read every word.
  • Share a memory. Send us your favorite photo or story from a past stay. We'll be collecting them, and they help us keep our chin up. You can reach us here.
  • Speak up locally. If you're a community member who'd like to advocate for Harrison Bluffs with the city, we'd be honored. We won't put words in your mouth; just speak from your own experience.
  • Stay in touch. Drop us a note and we'll keep you posted personally as soon as we have news.

Thank you

Harrison Bluffs has always been a place because of the people who love it. Your patience, your kindness, and your loyalty over the years are the reason we're so determined to get this right and reopen the gates.

We can't wait to see you back on the bluffs.
